A GREAT WORK.
In the Ba.rnardo Homes, which this year celebrate their diamond jubilee, there are. now over 7300 children. The beginning of the sixtieth year of the work of the institution coincided with the admission of the 100.000 th child—a baby girl a month old. About a third of the youngsters who have passed through the homes have settled overseas, and have done Very well as emigrants, not only for themselves, but for the E moire.
