AUCKLAND, April 26.
In the Police Court, Mr Hunt, S.M., fined Horace Horner, twenty-nine, £IOO for being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-car in Queen Street on Saturday afternoon and using obscene language. Mr Hunt said that he took into consideration the fact that Horner had been a soldier, and had a wife and
young family and he would not send him to prison.
