MR W. H. MOYLE DROPS DEAD.

Mr William Ilenry Moyle, seventyone years of age, retired engineer, who lived at Ashgrove Terrace. Cashmere, went into the Occidental Hotel about 31.30 a.m. to-day and asked for a drink of brandy, saying that he was not verywell. and had a pain in the chest. lie immediately collapsed on the floor, and died in a few minutes. Dr A. J. Orchard was called in, but could only state that life was extinct. Mr Movie, who had many friends in Christchurch, had been a resident of the city for nearly fifty lie was in the employ of the Canterbury Tramway Company for over thirty years, joining the service as an engineer when the first steam engines were introduced.
