A quick method of getting rid of a quantity of rubbish that had collected on the verandah of the Liberty Theatre was adopted this morning. The rubbish was tied into bundles and when one of the City Council’s rubbish carts came along it was backed under the verandah and the bundles were dropped into it. The result was that Hie verandah was cleared in a few minutes and the rubbish cart was able 10 proceed to the destructor without delay.
