AEOLIAN CLUB.

The Aeolian Club gave its second recital in the Choral Hall last evening, when there was a large attendance. The stage, which was decorated with palms and maples, was hung with black curtains, with gold bands round the top. Miss Piri Thompson wore an attractive tunic frock of navy blue satin, with a tunic of chenille embossed chiffon in navy, and lightly touched with pastel/ shades; Miss Judith Mathias, gold and blue metalled net, from a yoke of gendarme blue georgette, and a hem and narrow girdle of georgette; Miss Betty Hanham, attractive tunic frock of apricot shaded georgette lightly beaded in silver, over an underdress of apricot shot satin; Miss Violet Halliday, distinctive frock of crocus mauve georgette made with a long bodice and godets of silver lace, in the skirt, sleeves of silver lace. At the top of each goclefc was placed a medallion of blue and pink French flowers. Miss L. Hanham, hydrangea blue satin made with a long straight bodice and* the skirt draped with radium lac© lighj.lv hound with iridescent sequin trimming, and a chou of ostrich feather trimming at one side; Miss Mary Morrison, black georgette with a flared skirt and inlet bands of gold laoc between each flare, lightly trimmed with rhino stone trimming; Miss Olive (.'coper, delphinium blue brocaded marocain with a gold rose at one side of the low waist line ; Miss Elsie Morrah, pretty model frock of cyclamen georgette, with quaint Chinese embroideries and a looped panel at one side of the skirt; Miss Ruth Henry, frock of carnation pink satin marocain with a. scalloped tiered skirt and a girdle of gold ribbon with a flower motif at one side. The artists were presented with beautiful floral tributes.
