Fire was discovered in the steamer Clan Mackay which recently arrived from Tonga with a cargo containing copra, silver and copper, valued at about £300,000. the bulk of which has been discharged, only £OO.OOO worth remaining in the ship when she caught fire. Four floats and tugs and lire engines are flooding the holds.
