"William Walter Tyler -was fined 40s in default seven days' imprisonment for drunkenness, he having been previously convicted once within tlie pas six months. I ATTEMPTED SUICIDE. A woman, aged 64. whose name was ! ordered to be suppressed, was charged with having attempted to commit suicide. She pleaded guilty. Sub-Inspector Matthew said accused i was found in an outhouse, by her son. with her throat Out. She had been depressed owing to ill-health. Accused was discharged conditional j on the payment of expenses incurred by the police, amounting to £lO 4s. Norton, J.P.) DRUNK EX'NESS. Hans Larsen, for drunkenness, was fined 10s in default twenty.four hours’ imprisonment. KAIAPOL i (Before Mr Wvvern Wilson, S.M.) DP; FENCE CASKS. Thomas Tendall, charged with (piling to register under the Defence Act, was fined 20s and costs.
Gordon Sugdcn, for failing to render : military service, was fined 10s and costs. AFTER HOURS. Frederick Pearce, on a charge, of being found on licensed premises after hours, was fined 20s and costs.
