SILVER WEDDING.
On Saturday evening Air and ATrs C. Johnston© entertained a. number of guests at their residence, AVilson’s Road, on the occasion of tho celebration of their silver Avedding. The time passed quickly Avith games, competitions and musical items. The winners of the competitions were Airs AVells, Mrs R. Hawker and. Air R. AV a-ld ron. The supper tabic, which was decorated with silver hells, was adorned by a large Avedding cake. During supper the usual toasts Aver© honoured, and opportunity Avas taken to congratulate the bride’s father. Air IT. J. Hawker, on the occasion of attaining his eighty-first birthday.
