SPIRITUALISTS' CHURCH OF NEW ZEALAND.
CHRISTCHURCH BRANCH. The Sunday evening service will be held at 7 p.m. in the Trades Hall, room S. Mr Laycock, president, and Mr Miles, secretary, will lecture on spiritualism under the New Zealand Act of Parliament. by which our church is now recognised as a religious body by the Parliament of the Dominion. The Spiritualist Church of New Zealand will not allow any speaker on their platform who practices fortune-telling or who is not of the highest moral character, sober habits and absolutely free from conviction for offences against the lav.-. Mrs Hope, from England, will take the platform on July 5, and comes to our church with the highest credentials, and which is bound to assure very large meetings of intellectual and spiritual people, who are looking for the highest and best. 6
