I\ Thomson is conducting a, manhood campaign ” in London before taking missionary work in China, conducted tho service Yesterday morning at Streathorn Congregational Church. i Mr Liddell drew a word picture of j ill© interior of a. dressing-room on a J football ground, and the captain colling upon his team to play the game. “ There are one or two who play the game in a way you don't like.” said Air Liddell. *' They are very good yes, the finest in the team, but when they draw near the goal they want to get the ball irrto the goal themselves inste-d of passing it out to someon*, els© to shoot it. in. We have absolutely no use for this player who is workj ing for himself and not for the team.”
