EVERYBODY’S THEATRE.

“Three Wise Fools,” which has been given pride of place in this week’s programme at Everybody's Theatre, lias sufficient romance, sufficient thrills and sufficient genuine comedy in its composition to satisfy the most exacting. It is undoubtedly one of the most enjoyable pictures shown in Christchurch for some time, and, while it lacks anything of a spectacular nature, it has ample measure of all the ingredients that combine to produce thoroughly satisfying fare. It was produced in the Goldwyn studios, and is a film of Austin Strong's successful stage play of the saipe name. Produced under the direction of King Vidor, it has all of his feeling for actuality and characterisation in atmosphere and background. Eleanor Boardman is the girl, and the “ three wise fools ” arc Claude Gillingwater. William 11. Crane and Alec Francis. There is a strong supporting cast. “’if T Marry Again” is a love drama that calls for n rare type of emotional acting. Doris Kenyon is seen in the leading role, and five prominent players appear in supporting parts. Frank Mayo is the misunderstood husband, and Lloyd Hughes is the son who marries against his father’s wishes. Ilobart Bos worth plays the father, and Anna O. Nilsson, Myrtle Stedman and Baby Dorothy Brock arc also seen in important roles. The incidental music played by the “.Select” Orchestra is entirely in keeping with the excellence of the pictorial offering.
