' In connection with tJu> Rugby Union Training Ground, the Sports Committee reported that, following upon consideration of the letters received from the Canterbury Rugby Union and the Ragley Golf Club, it Lad been resolved that the Training Ground of the union be not ploughed up until aTTcr the present football season, and that the present arrangement of the Golf Club greens be adhered to for the present season. It had been further resolved that the chairman, Mr W H. Winsor, and Mr' H. J. Beswick confer with the Curator, Mr. James Young, to see what improvements in Ihe football grounds and the Hagloy golf links could be effected to the advantage of both sports before next season, in order that the Hagley Golf Club may have time to prepare anv other greens.
