MINISTERIAL. The Hon. J. G. Coates and party, and the Hon. G. J. Anderson left Invercargill by the express this morning for Christchurch, en route to Wellington. Messrs S. C. Gilfillau (Auckland) and 11. Archer Bowler (London) arrived from the north this morning and are staying at the’Clarendou Hotel. Messrs Francis A. Drake (Wellington), V. G. Compton (Invercargill), and H. H. M’Cullough (Auckland) are among the recent arrivals staying at the United Service Hotel. Messrs B. West (Victoria) and W. G. Watson (Sydney) are recent arrivals at Warner’s Hotel. The Hon. Mark Cohen arrived from Wellington by the Wuhinc this morning. Mr Justice Adams left for Timaru to-day for the quarterly sitting of the Supreme Court there. Bishop Cleary was a passenger by the Wahine this morning, and went south by the express. A motion was carried at a meeting of the Technical College Board of Governors last evening congratulating Mrs Herbert, Mr F. R. Cooke, Mr W. 11. Gahagan and Mr E. H. Andrews, on their success at the recent polls. A motion of sympathy with Mr A. S. Taylor, a member of the board, on the death of his father, Mr A. E.
