Yesterday afternoon manual instructors in the Christchurch area assembled at the Normal School to bid farewell to Aliss Al. E. A”. Ferrier, who has been assistant domestic science iustructrea* at the Sydenham centre for the pas: four years and who is retiring from tin service at the cud of this month.
