MINISTERIAL. The ITon J. G. Coates and the Hon G. J. Anderson are visiting Invercargill. Or Truby King went south from Christchurch this morning. C aptain L. Mackintosh Eilis, Director of Forestry (Wellington), arrived from the north this morning and is staying at the Clarendon Hotel. Messrs D. Dickie. If. A. Fox, O. Illayney (Wellington) and li. A. Smith (Sydney) arc recent anivals at Warner's Hotel. -Messrs ( . IT. Roberts (Wellington) and J. Buchanan (London) arrived from the north this morning and are staying at the United Service Hotel. The Government has appointed Messrs A. Hunter (Auckland -engineer', \V. D. Hunt (Wellington) and IT. Williams (Gisborne) as a commission to investigate matters connected with the Rangitaiki drainage. Mr J. E. Henrys (handicapper) and -Mr R. IT. Aldworth (judge) arrived irorn the north this morning and went on to Timaru, to carry out their duties at the South Canterbury Jockey Club's meeting, to be held to-morrow and Saturday. Arcnbishop Redwood, who arrived from Wellington this morning, will proceed to Dunedin to-morrow tc attend the silver jubilee of the Holy Crocs College at Mosgiel. The jubilee celebrations will commence on Sunday next, and extend over Monday and Tuesday, in addition to Archbishop Redwood, there will also be present Archbishop O’Shea and Bishops Liston, Cleary and Ji rod lie, among others.
