Kawatiri arrived yesterday morning from Newcastle with a load of coal. The vessel was unable to make a start in discharging owing to a shortage of railwill load general cargo at Lytte'ton and Picton for Auckland. She is timed to sail from Uyttelton about May 7. Kaiapoi is now expected to make her departure for Auckland to-morrow. Wingatui was dispatched last evening for Dunedin. Waipori, from Westport with a load of coal, is due to-morrow. Kamo is expected this morning from Timaru to load for Napier and Gisborne. She will return here from Napier with a consignment of sheep. The New Zealand Shipping Coinpjny advises that the steamer Willaston is due this morning from Wellington with Montreal and New York cargo for discharge. She proceeds later to Dunedin. The C. and D. Uine lias been advised that the Port Curtis arrived at London on Saturday last from Wellington. She left Wellington on March 14. Captain G. E.
