A.S.R.S. CONFERENCE.
The biennial conference of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants is still sitting in Wellington, and the proceedings are expected to last until towards the end of next week. Not the least important, matters on the agenda paper arc the recent railway strike, the withdrawal ,pf the society from the Alliance of Labour, and the conditions of employment resulting therefrom.
