Tweedale was ordered to pay the sum of £ll 9s to J. J. Ardagh in default twelve days’ imprisonment. A'ictor Toh-hard was ordered to pay the sum of £9 7s Gd to Jean Hamilton, in default ten days’ imprisonment. J. A. Hobson was ordered to pav the sum of £l2 8s 2d to John Cook, Ltd., in default fourteen days’ imprisonment. AN UNSOUND HORSE. AA'. Roberts, company manager, Christchurch (Mr Tracy), claimed from H. Box, horse-trainer, Spreydon (Mr Twyneham) the sum of £SO, the amount which the plaintiff paid to the defendant for a horse which was warranted to he sound, quiet and broken ;o every kind of work in harness. It v as alleged that the horse haa none of these qua I tics, and was iherfore val ueless. Mr Twyneham admitted that Box was liable, and judgment was given for the plaintiff for the amount claimed.
