A flannel dance in aid of the Lyttelton Murine Band was held in the Excelsior Hall on Saturday night. There was a large gathering and a pleasant evening was spent. The dance was organised by the citizens’ committee of the band. Mr F. Wilford was M.C., and musio was supplied by the Lyttelton Marine Band. Extras were played by Miss A. Carson, Messrs F. Lambert and B. Demiohelli.
