SCHOOL BURNED DOWN.
SECOND THIS MONTH. Pun Prje&s Association. TIMARU, July 18. lire at 3.15 a.m. to-day completely gutted the Marist Brothers’ school. The flames had a good hold when the outbreak was discovered, and the brigade’s efforts could not prevent the destruction of the place. Only the four brick walls are nowstanding. The building w r aa a very old one and has been used as a school for many years. It was insured. The origin of the outbreak is unknown. This is the second school hie her© this month.
