Over four hundred plants are taking part in the Pairs Championship of the Dominion Bowling Tournament on thirteen city and suburban greens to-day. The weather conditions are ideal for bowling a slight breeze tempering the atmosphere. The championship has attracted many of the best bowlers in the Dominion, including the holders of the championship, V M’Callum and T. Edwards (Temuka) and several exchampions. The championship is being conducted on the section principle. The Pairs have been divided into sections, and each pair will have five games of twenty-one heads in the section play. At the conclusion of section play, section ties will be played off.
