ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
CUT BY SAW. A. P. Cobden. a married man residing at 85. Bligh’s Road, who was working at the yards of P. Graham and Sons, contractors, St Asaph Street, slipped on a circular saw to-day and received cuts to the face, necessitating his admission to hospital. INJURY TO EYE. An employee in Boon’s factory in Ferry Road, ‘Allen Dann, a married man resident in St Albans Street, was working at a circular saw when a piece of wood flew off. striking him on the right eye. He was admitted to hos pital. but it is hoped tho injuries will not be serious. KNOCKED OWN BY BICYCLE. A small boy on a bicycle knocked down a young girl near Broadway’s corner at about one o’clock to-day. Bevontl a scratch or two the girl was unhurt. FOUND DEAD. Per Press Association. BLENHEIM. January 11. Frank Oldham White, aged forty- , two, a farmer, of Tuamarina. was found dead this morning . He had been ! ailing for the last twelve years.
