UNION ROWING CLUB. Tho Watson’3 Cup four-oared race has been rowed off during the past week. Owing to the bad state of the rivet; the race had to be rowed over a half-mile course, instead of the usual mile, the races, therefore, starting from Cowlishaw’s Corner. The following are tbe result*: — F. Duggan. A. Rogers. C. Watson and J. T. M. Gee defeated D. Neil. L. H. Duggan, F. L. Booth and L. Beardsley. Alter & false start the two crews got away together, and Duggan, rowing more even stroke, eventually won by half a length. A. Beardsley, R. Wilson, W. L. Moore and F. Rogers beat A. Freeman. L-. 31. Osborne, W. K. Lauchland and R- Sutherland. This was a good race all the way, Beardsley winning on the post. F. Duggan, A. Rogers. C. Watson and J. T. M Gee beat B. Donnelly, E. A. Rogers, W. Beardsley’s crew. This was a fine race, and was witnessed by a large number of members and friends.
