INCREASE ALL ROUND. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrigh? Reuter’s Telegrams. (Received January 11, 11.55 a.m.) LONDON, January 10. The Board ot Trade returns show that imports during 1923 totalled £1.098.000,000. as compared with £1,003,000.000 in 1922. Export* amounted to £769.000,000, as against £719,000,000, and re-exports £118,000,000. compared with £103,000,000. Allowing for the changed basis dna to the fact that that Southern Ireland in April became a free State, the Board of Trade estimates that imports in 1923 actually increased bv- £25,000,000 and exports by £20.000,000, and reexports by £6,000,000.
