RINGING-IN ALLEGATION CHALLENGED. THE CASE OF KINGSDALE. Peu Prrss Association-. GORE, January 11. In connection with the trotting sensations it is interesting to recall that a horse named Kingsdale, in the nams of W. Cameron, won the Balfour Trot Handicap at the Gore spring meeting, paying a good dividend. Later the owner communicated with tho club to the effect that he had heard tho horse described as a “ ringerin and stating that he was quite willing to produce the horse for inquiry. The Racing Club committee decided to hold over payment of the stakes till the club was advised of tho result of inquiries made by the Trotting Association. The stake is still held up.
