MEETING OF BOARD OF CONTROL A meeting of the Lancaster Park I Board of Control was held in the | office of the secretary (Mr J. O. M’Gil- ! J.ivray) last evening. Mr A. Dev occu- ! pied the chair. There were also pre- | sent—Messrs C. S. M’Cullv, W. A. Wauchop, 0 P. Agar and the secretary. Mr j J. O. M’Gillivray. I A letter was received from the Can- | terbury Cricket Association asking perj mission to issue free passes to members | of the various teams in the Canterburv- | Otago match. Permission was granted, j The New Zealand Cricket Council wrote asking ior the use of the park for a test match, New South Wales v. New Zealand, on March 1 and 3. The permission was granted, subject to the approval of the Cricket Association. I Leave of absence from the board was granted to Mr C. P. Agar for a period of six months. Accounts amounting to £l3 2s 9ri were passed for payment. The statement of receipts and expenditure showed receipts to be £34 2s j fid on account of selling rights, and | £265 19s od for cricket: £57 10s was ex- j pended for wages; cricket £225 “s 6a; \ repairs and renewals, £2B Ss lOd, and miscellaneous expenses £2l os lOd. There was a balance left at the bank of j £BSB 13s sd.
