PRISONERS SENTENCED. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, December 22. At the Supreme Court. Walter George Ingram, for indeecnfc assault and carnal knowledge at Napier was sentenced by the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) to four years’ hard labour. George James Beere, for breaking and entering at Napier, received three years’ reformative treatment. William Richard Coughl&n, for indecent assault at Hastings, received twelve months’ gaol and was declared an habitual criminal. He had two previous convictions for similar offences. Fred Walden, for indecent assault at Otaki. received two years’ reformative treatment. George Herbert Edwards, for a breach of his probationary license. was put on extended probation. Horae© Bishop, for breaking and entering, theft and forgerv and uttering, received two years’ reformative treatment.
