A UNIQUE DIARY.
VOYAGE OF THE I RANDOLPH. TO BE PUBUSHED IN THE “ STAR.” Not many of the ‘'Canterbury Pilgrims ” kept diaries recording the incidents which broke the monotony of their Y°yag© in the first four ships. Recently there came into the ‘ Star” office a son of one of the Pilgrims, who had in his possesion the original manuscript of a diary kept by his father, who was a passenger on the Randolph. He thought that it might make an interesting addition to the “ Star’s ” series of reminiscences of the early days. A perusal of the diary revealed that it was a most interesting document.
To-morrow, which is being celebrated as Anniversary !>av. the “ Star ” will commence the publication of the diary, giving a long instalment. Subsequent instalments will be published on succeeding Saturdays.
