LATE ELECTION NOTES.
(Received December 8, 4 p.m.) f LONDON , | December 7. St Pancras sends two Labourites and one Conservative to the House. Southwark two Labourites and one Liberal, while Stepney is solidly Labour. Mr Philip Snowden. Labojur, was reelected for Colne Valley. The Liberal and Labour gains, notablv in the counties, continue. They include the Labourite Mr R. Climie, who ousted the Liberal leader. Sir Donald MacLeau. in a triangular fight at Kilmarnock, and a Liberal, Mr S. W . Robinson, who gained Chelmsford from the Conservative. Mr E'. G. Pretyman. The Liberals gained Gateshead and El land from the Labourites, while, on the other hand, tho Labourites wrested Mile End and Rotherham from the Conservatives, the majority in Rotherham being 2448. The Labourites elected include Mr J. Maxton. >IT Noel Buxton, M r Ben Spoor, Mr Patrick Hastings. Mr Jack Jones and Mr AVill Thorne.
