ADDINGTON SCHOOL PICNIC.
Tbo Addington School pionio was held yesterday at Oxford. Two trains laden witn about 1000 adults and ciuluren left Ohmatcßaroh at 8 *.m. The day turned out fane and everyunus went off Smootuly. The te&cners, unuer Mr R. u. Clark, worked exceptionally hard to see that all the children nad a jolly day Ice cream, sweets, apples and nuts were‘given out to the children on the ground. The return trip was made via the Gorge, where the train stopped for five minutes to allow the passengers to view the soenery. Smith 2. W. Cooper and L. Hartigan 3. PSOyda—H. Browning 1, H. Kilpatrick 2. J. Hunter 8. A relay race between the committee and the teachers was won eartily by the latter. Messrs Wear, Worrall and Hewitt comprised the committee team, while the school team was Messrs Walker, Wilson and Gourlay.
