COLLECTING FOR PATIENTS An allegation that ho had been collecting subscriptions from the publio tor Christmas presents for children in the Christchurch Hospital was made against William Thomas Burridge. thirty-three years of age. at the Magis trate’s Court this morning before Mr H. Y. Widdowson, S.M. Burridge, who entered a plea of not guilty, was charged with being a rogue and vagabond within the meaning of the Police Offences Act in that ho imposed on a private individual.
