QUEEN’S THEATRE.
| A double featured programme will i be shown at the Queen’s Theatre commencing Monday. The outstanding | feature will be “ b lames of Passion,” | which is portrayed by an all star cast. , ft .is a story of the out-of-doors and •ordains as many thrills as the average -rial. Each reel ■ shows a different thrill, and combines in the presentation of the picture that is at all entertaining and particularly dramatic. I he outstanding' thriller is a realistic forest lire towards the close of the picture. ** Flahies of Passion ” is /based on a human story concerning fijther love, and his determination to •avenge a supposed wrong. There are very entertaining types introduced, and these furnish a picturesque background for a production that should prove a splendid attraction. The thrill* include fights on floating logs, on housetops and at sea with three daring rescues. but these- fnd© away in eompavison with the forest fire “and a subsequent. rescue in which our hero saves the of his sweetheart and her father. The ■ second attraction is Universal’s latest feature, starring Hoot Gib Son. entitled ‘The Bearcat.” It is a strong and pleasing story with the whirlwind actor at his very best-. Lillian Rich plays opposite him. The supports include “ Fool Days,” an Al. St John comedy, the Fox News, and an interest film.
