NO APPARENT MOTIVE.
BRISBANE, December 7. Miss Watson, besides being the keeper of a beauty parlour, writes movie-pic-ture stories. The case is surrounded by mystery. No apparent motive is forthcoming for the alleged kidnapping, or for the cutting short of Miss Watson’s hair by her captors. Police efforts have failed to discover any trace of tho- kidnappers or their motor-boat, or of the boat wherein Miss W at son is said to have escaped ashore.
