POLICE INVESTIGATING.

Miss Watson, keeper of a beauty parlour, states lhat she went for a bathe on the morning of November 27. Her clothes were found on the beach and it was supposed that she had been drowned. On Wednesday night she re-appeared at a house in Sandgate. wearing only a gown over her batnng suit. She stated that she had been spirited awfcy by a well-dressed man and woman in a motor-boat She was kept closelyconfined below, but otherwise was well tree ted. After several days of cruising she managed to escape when the boat reached Sandgate.
