PACKING ELECTRO-PLATE.

Mix u little plate powder with clean water. Then rub it on the silver, using a piece of cotton-waste or soft flannel. Put a thin coating of the mixture over all the silver, and let it become thoroughly dry. Then wrap up each piece carefully with tissue paper, and pack away in a box or locker, using old paper to fill up the spaces. When the silver is required for use again get a wooden tub of hot goapy water, or if a wooden tub is not available put a piece of blanket in the sink or the dish used to prevent the silver from scratching. l.et the silver soak a while ; then wash with a brush and dry thoroughly, finishing off with a good rubbing with a soft glasscloth . «
