METHODIST CONCERT.
A concert in aid of the Methodist Young People's Department was given in the Choral Hall last evening. There was a large attendance. The. programme. which had been arranged by Air Y. Peters, of the Edgeware Road choir, was most enjoyable. The items were:—Solo. "Daddy's Sweetheart," Muriel Kershaw; recitation. “Greta's Ambition,” Stella Chapman; character duet, "The Two Dolls,” Joan Hughes and M. Kershaw: solo, “Orpheus With His Lute,” Jim Hicks; humorous recitation, Hazel M'Caughren; character sketch. “The Charlady,” Joan Hughes; solo, “Break o’ Day,” Elsie Staples; character duet. “Key of Canterbury,” Myra and Vera Pollard; quartette, “An Evening’s Pastorale,” Misses Duff and Lawrv and Messrs Woodham and Peters; solo. “Nearer My God to Thee,” Lilian Kin sella; recitation, Aliss Simp-
son : character trio. “The Rendezvous,” Thelma. Betty and Joan Thomson: solo. Powder Alonkey,” Roy (''ampbell; Dickens character sketch, Air Ray Collins; musical monologue, Miss Salkeld. In addition action songs, club drill, hoop drill and dumb bell drill were given by squads of children.
