FIRES IN AUSTRALIA.

It has been ascertained that Elliott’s furniture warehouse was not insured. The damage was £IOO,OOO. Elliott’s loss was £70,000. Four shops destroyed by fire in the business centre of More©, were damaged to the extent of from £15,000 to £20,000. MELBOURNE, October 29. Mulready, Bovan and Clark’s timber yards at Fitzrov were destroyed by fire. The damage was £25,000.
