CRUISER SQUADRON’S CRUISE.

The programme of the world cruiseof the naval squadron which has been issued by the Admiralty, shows that it v. ill leave Devonport on November 27. Tlie squadron will consist of battle and light cruisers. After visiting African, Asiatic and Australian ports, the light cruisers will spend a week at Lyttelton from May 1. The battle cruisers will remain eleven days in AVelhngton from April Tlie squadron will roach Auckland on May 10 ami will remain for a week there. From that port they will proceed to Fiji for six days, and afterwards will visit San Francisco. The light cruisers will proceed to South American ports, while the battla cruisers will go through the Panama Canal to the AYest Indian aud Canadian ports. The squadron will reach England on September 9. TO REPLACE THE CHATHAM (Received October 29, 12.20 p.m.) LONDON, October 28. Jt is understood that the cruiser Dunedin is unlikely, to participate in the coming naval world cruise, but probably will ho handed over to the New Zealand Government to replaces the Chatham. New Zealand has applied for ninety additional naval ratings, which will shortly be supplied.
