The special court which tried the Communist leaders concerned in the re cent disturbances in Hamburg, sent enced. one to death for high treason and rebellion. One was sentenced to six years penal servitude for attempted murder. Athers were sentenced to imprisonment ranging from a year to two months. Fourteen policemen were killed during the revolt. The total rebel casualties are not yet known, but seventy-five died in hospitals.
