SEPARATIST GOVERNMENT. ~ ARMED MEN TAKE HOSTAGES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Reuter's Telegrams. (Received October 29, 11.15 a.m.) BERLIN, October 28. _ News from Paris of the formation of a Separatist Government was not taken seriouslv in Berlin. It was pointed out that the Ministers had nothing to govern. The wife and daughter of the burgomaster of Crefeld were carried off as hostages by armed Separatists, who looted the burgomaster’s residence. The police commissioner was wounded and was sent to hospital.
