GERMAN - AMERICANS STIRRED.
NEW YORK, October 22. German-Americans have been very much stirred by the Separatist news. United German societies, representing 7.500,000 German-Americans have issued an appeal to members to help Germany in her hour of peril, and provide adequate financial assistance to set Germany on her feet before she disintegrates. The newspapers, in editorial comment, dwell on the uncertainty of the outcome of the establishment of new republics and indicate that France will probably find that she has created a Frankenstein monster when she encouraged the Separatists.
