ROYALIST RISING. Reuter's Telegrams. LONDON, October 22. Messages trickling in from Athens, after passing the censors. report a military rising, under the leadership of the Royalist, General Metaxas, who is at the head of 2000 men with six guns. Revolutionary proclamations were scattered over the capital from an aeroplane. The movement is declared to be unimportant. ■With a view to misleading the troops, it is stated to be directed by the Generals Garfcaldis. Leonardopoulos and other officers, all of whom are on the retired list.
