THE LOBURN FATALITY.

MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE. The charge of manslaughter against Louis Pain, in connection with the death at Loburn of Miss Julia Carboy in a motor-car accident, was called at the Magistrate’s Court, Rangiora, today. Mr E. D. R. Smith appeared for the accused. An application for a further remand till October 31 was made by the police, and was granted by the presiding Justine. Mr W. M’Gruer. The accused was allowed bail, the sureties being as before.
