Among the papers acquired by the ‘'Daily Mail” from the Hulton Trust are the ‘‘Evening Standard.” ‘‘Daily Sketch ” and “ Sunday Herald,” published in London, and also several Manchester dailies and weeklies. It is authoritatively stated that Lord Bea verbrook has purchased the “Pall Mall, Gazette,” which will he absorbed in the ‘‘Evening Standard.”
