The Trinity Methodist Chap: eli at Dunedin has decided to invite the ltev T. H. Burton, of St Albans, to come as a second minister, states a Press Association telegram. A sum of £4OO lias been paid b3' the Public Works Department to the Arrniri County Council on account of the damage done to the Waiau-Kai-koura H-oad by the floods last May. Cabinet has approved of a grant of £7OO (free money) and also a. grant of £3OOO (£1 for £1 subsidy) towards the repair of the remainder of the flood damage in the county.
