GOLD IN FIJI.
INVESTIGATION BEING MADE. Pvr Press Association. WELLINGTON. October 12. The departure of Dr J. Henderson, of the New Zealand Geological Survey for Auckland yesterday, en route to Fiji to report upon the reported payable find of gold, which is said variously to yield five to ten ounces per ton in assays, may mark new activities in Yanawai, near Savu Savu, in the island of Yanua Levu. where the reef is said to be situated.
