TO MEND GLASS.
A good cement for mending broken glass can be made in this way. Put an ounce of isinglass, together with a quarter of a pint of methylated spirits, into a bottle. Place the bottle, without a cork, in a bowl of warm water and shako it now and again to help the isinglass to dissolve. AA’hen a solution has been obtained strain through a piece of muslin. Tho cement thus
secured is excellent for repairing glass and is practically invisible. It will be quite safe t-o wash the- glass in warm water, provided sufficient time lias been allowed for the repair to set.
