(Received October 1. 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, September 30. The Canadian Premier (Mr Mackenzie King) has arrived at Liverpool. Interviewed regarding post-war conditions. lie said, that Canada had been hit hard by the collapse of prices and drain of huge railway deficits. Fortunately, the %ide had now turned. Canada was anxious to absorb all possible men and women of British stock. They were receiving less capital than they desired from Britain', whose investments were practically the same as before the war, whereas the United States investments in Canada had vastly increased and were increasing.
