YOUNG WOMAN LOSES HER LIFE. (Pbr Prms Auooiatiok.' WELLINGTON, May 3. A fire attended with fatal results occurred in the Young Women’s Hostel to-night. Appaveotlv it bvoke out in a room occupied by Miss Gourle.v, an iinmigrant, who had just arrived by the Ulimaroa. Screams were beard coming from her room on the top storey. Volumes of «rmoke rolled along the passage and prevented a rescue until the unfortunate woman, who it is believed was suffocated bv smoke, was dead. The body was burned in places.
