PAN-PACIFIC SCIENCE CONGRESS.
SESSION IN AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received May 3, 11.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, May 3. Arrangements are progressing for holding a Pan-Pacific Science Oongrees towards the expenses of which the Commonwealth Government has voted £SOOO. The congress will cover two sessions, one being held in Melbourne from August 13 to August 22, and the other in Sydney from August 23 to September 3. Invitations have been sent to 250 leading scientific societies in countries either bordering on the Pacific or having direct interests in the Pacific.
